(EIRNS)—The Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement today, blaming NATO and the United States for causing the chaos now engulfing Libya. Unofficial translations of the excerpt text are now available on Itar-Tass, RIA Novosti and other major Russian media. The statement asserts:

"We are convinced that the current chaos in Libya is a direct consequence of irresponsible interference by the U.S. and its NATO allies into Libya’s internal political conflict, with an aim to overthrow the Muammar Qaddafi regime and forcefully democratize the country," the Ministry states.

This is exactly the contingency Lyndon LaRouche, U.S. statesman, forewarned of in 2011, before the murder of Libyan leader Colonel Qaddafi, adding that it would contribute to spreading conflagration throughout Middle East North Africa region with threat of world thermonuclear war. At the time, Susan Rice, then U.S. Ambassador to the UN, praised Obama’s judgement to intervene in Libya, and the killing of Qaddafi, as "an enormous success." The U.S. policy came directly from London.

More excerpts from Russia’s denunciation statement, as covered by RIA Novosti:

"At present, the Libyans are paying for this, with thousands of lives lost and social infrastructure destroyed in the violent internal struggle.

"We can now say for sure that the political process of creating a modern democratic state on the rubble of the Qaddafi regime, overthrown in 2011, is now completely deadlocked."

The statement describes that today, the "entire state power created during the post-revolution period [is] being destroyed."

The statement sums up, "Thus, there are two parallel parliaments and two cabinets of ministers in the country now. Moreover, none of these structures, apparently, has the capacity to establish effective control over the situation in the country."
